  1. 3D animation and computer-generated imagery
  2. A. A animation exercise we had last semester, where we had to replicate a reference video, and how some animations turned out better than others, because they had those little details that you can’t really see in a first glance, but it’s noticeable on the whole animation. Or they had better animations, because they were able to convey weight shifts in the body and had natural movements, which made the animation more fluent. B. What makes people appreciate an animation they see? C. Animating something isn’t that complicated.
  3. I enjoy animating. It’s probably one of the harder classes I have, but I find it very interesting to learn about how different things work and move. If you animate a dog, you need to research how dogs move and their behaviour, same with anything else. I find like it’s a place where you never stop learning new things.
  4. I hope to learn what the hardest things are to include in an animation and why they may be harder to do than others.
  5. I want people to understand that animation takes a lot of effort and isn’t just moving the character around. I want people to feel admiration and appreciation when they see an animation and be able to notice the details that the average person may have missed. I want people to know that even though animation isn’t easy, it’s a lot of fun to do.
  6. I think my feature story would be an investigation, because I’m sort of searching for the hidden truth behind animation. The hidden truth being what it actually takes to make a good animation and how difficult it is to create a good animation.
  7. The intended audience is to anyone who watches animated movies, plays video games or just watches anything containing animation.
  8. The purpose of the article is to make people appreciate the work that goes into animation. I also want the audience to understand everything that needs to be put into an animation to make it good.
  9. https://www.reddit.com/r/animation/ is a Reddit page that post 3D animation related things. I think it would be a good place to publish my story, because it’s related to my subject and it also has over a hundred thousand members.
  10. My story will be about the most difficult parts of being an animator aesthetically wise, and explain why they are difficult by doing some research on it. For example, if one of the difficult parts of animation is to illustrate a weight of something, I could research on how weight reacts to something that tries to manipulate it. If a struggle is to convey emotion in an animation, I would research the micro movements the human face makes when they feel a certain emotion. I will talk about my colleagues, as well as my experience and struggles with animation. I will also maybe interview someone and ask them what they find hardest, why and how they cope with it. Basically, I want to explain to people that animating and giving life to a virtual character is no easy job.
